August 13, 2020 - Intel's chief architect, Raja Koduri, joins a number of Intel academics and architects to detail Intel's progress on its innovation six technology pillars strategy during the Intel Architecture Day 2020 press conference. Intel introduced the 10-nanometer SuperFin technology, which is the company's most powerful in-node performance enhancement ever, providing a performance boost comparable to full-node conversion.
The company also announced details of the Willow Cove microarchitecture and Tiger Lake SoC architecture for mobile clients, as well as the first introduction of a fully scalable Xe graphics architecture. These innovative architectures can serve the consumer, high performance computing and game application markets. Based on Intel's "decomposition design" approach, combined with advanced packaging technology, XPU products and a softwarecentric strategy, Intel's product portfolio is dedicated to providing customers with leading products.
